The amount of hate Hindus received this Dashain and Tihar is concerning

Hindus especially Brahmins and Chettris these days are constantly being targeted on Facebook and Tiktok by Kiratis especially those affiliated with Mongol National Organization . The growing amount of hate these people have towards Hindu is really concerning. They were busy organizing Dashain Bahiskar karyakram during Dashian and Tihar bahiskar during Tihar . Calling for violence simply for celebrating a Festival is pretty damn stupid .

  1. I am from kirati community and can assure you that most people in my community are just celebrating dashain and tihar. People who don’t celebrate dashain (like my family) just visit our relatives and eat food.

I am not sure how much you can trust online engagement especially when the algorithms is geared towards giving you what enrages you.

  2. I am pretty sure that these fringe groups with extreme views have always been there. It is just that in todays world, there are more ways to get their words around. As someone pointed it out before, their victory would be if you react.

  3. ignore them cause they just want a reaction.
also if you see any hate post on social media, take time to report them:
go to report post and add reason: report as hate speech against a race or ethnicity; or religious affiliation

  4. I know they are just a tiny minority making loud noises on the internet but these people are being fed fake news, misinformation, and fear mongering conspiracy theories. They are being taught twisted and wrong versions of history to rile them up against Hindus and Bahun Chhetris.

If you talk with them for a few minutes, you’ll be perplexed by the kind of stupid aru le bhaneko suneko claims they pull. They are armed with fake news and baseless theories which can be easily debunked.

Most of such people come from uneducated and rural class, but some urban educated people also seem to have fallen victim to such a narrative.

There is also a strong hint of victim and persecution complex in such people. They’ll perceive everything as being a victim or persecuted.

I don’t know what is going on.

Will the leaders from those communities take the initiative to properly educate and control such kind of radicalization within the community?

But I have seen people from their community trying to correct them being labeled as bahun chhetri ko gulam, traitor etc

  5. Really bro social media ma sano group haru ko hatred padera sabai community nai against cha bhanne judgemental banaune. There are always minority groups in every caste who do that kind of shit against other religions, caste or gender. Aba some brahmins or chettris le madeshi or dalit haru lai thucha najar le herera nepali nai haina jasto garyo bhandai ma sabai brahmins and chettris racist ho bhanna ta mildaina hola ni. Mero ghar najik ko kiratis or mongol haru le ta dashai tihar ma ramailo nai gardai baseko chan. Afu najik ko society le parakha samaj bro, social media le haina. Social media le ta Dharan nai aru caste chirnai or hernai sakdaina jasto garera dhekako thiyo ta, khai ta ma 2-3 palta teta jada i didn’t feel unwelcome or hatred.

  6. Asti euta vdo thyo bahun le post gareko, Kei jat ko kura thiyena video naramro kei thiyena,I forgot k thyo but comment ma euta le “Bahun ko jat ta honi faida khojnu pari halyo ni” re Topic k xa kura k garya xa.Buda haru matra pagal hunthiye paila kaile kaile aile ta youth haruma pani influence vako xa.

  7. They are NPCs with nothing better to do in their miserable lives except spreading hatred and since they have nothing to do in life they spend their time and energy supporting shit causes like these🐑. Good that you are aware of it but after you are just ignore and don’t feed into their stupidity

  8. Im from kirat community from its nerve centre,Dharan. I absolutely see no such things here. If we go on about tiktoks, sajin maharjan would be best singer, ansh verma best celebrity representing Nepal. Is it the case?

  9. Nothing in Facebook, Reddit, Tiktok, and Instagram is real. They are all engineered. They are not real people. They are not real accounts. Nepal government needs to ban facebook as well. Because the amount of fake information is concerning.

If someone hates you for being a Hindu let them tell to your face. People write anything online. Social media is a fake world. Everything around you is created to make you believe in something that doesn’t exist.

Did you know in 2014, Myanmar banned facebook because it triggered an outbreak of ethnic violence.

  10. The rise in hateful behavior against Hinduism and bahun chhetris is just one front of the massive conversion campaign that’s going on in Nepal in certain communities specially Tamang and Kirat. That’s why you will almost always see hateful behavior from people from those communities. Not all though, a loud tiny minority.

You can’t force someone to not celebreate Dashain, but if you repeat a lie 100 times that Dashain isn’t yours, it was forced on you using guns then it’s more likely a person will be detached from celebrating the festival.

I met a guy who said Dashain is by baun xetris to celebrate the death of kirat ancestors. I was like what the fuck who taught you this.

Saw a Tamang guy commenting we mulbasi should chase hindu baun xetris saranarthi from nepal. I replied bro your nane is tibetan. Your ancestry is tibetan. The same Hindus gave shelter and support to dalai Lama. What is wrong with you?

MNO was established by Gopal Gurung who was a Christian and a fundamentalist from North East India. Both the Tamang and Kirat communities are the highest converting communities in Nepal. Both the communities have seen a massive dip in their population. Now go connect the dots.

It’s an age old tactics by missionaries to divide and rule. It succeeded in Latin America, Africa and North east India and now they are trying it here in Nepal too. At this time, everyone needs to stay together.

  11. Please try to coexist. Hinduism is very very similar to all of our other nepali religions. Picking fight with 80% of population and India which is becoming more hindu centric and which wants to make a hindu country is not good.

  12. Really dude? I am seeing none on my feed because I watch none of that propaganda bullshit anyway. Even the gai khane masu incident, I fucking ignore. You must probably be one of the people I saw on certain Kirati meme videos/pictures where people of the Kirati community making fun of themselves but still had the audacity to comment things like “what can you expect from these cow eating people”. Let’s nip these in the bud buddy. I am a Kirati married to a Bahun and my extended Bahun family respects my traditions as much I respect theirs. Heck I haven’t been able to put on Dashain tika since being married because I have been in mourning for my relatives – it is a Limbu thing which my mom enforces. They don’t do that shit in their community but they respect me enough for it. Also I don’t identify myself as a Hindu but my husband does and he doesn’t give me shit about it. So fuck you to all these people who keeps forcing religious propaganda down people’s throat. Remember what happened in World War 2, remember what is happening right now in Gaza, you people are justifying human genocide because we believe in different gods and practice different religions. Man, why do the mods even allow such posts to be posted here when it is about coming together and being a community.

  13. There are always people like these in every ethnicity and race who have inherent hate for other groups. They are like parasites driven by hate to suck out happiness and peace from society.

I have firsthand experience of how much kirati people hate bahun chhetri. And its pretty ovious no bahun chhetry has done any harm to them yet they harbor such hatred. I had once a neighbor who was a Rai, and the amount of racist remarks she pulled against bahun chhetrys was a literal sewage coming from her mouth. It would enrage us so much, but we let her and her friends off the hook. (she would make remarks on our appearance, culture, everything). Yet she had the nerve of seeking our help in need, and we would out of human kindness. This is one example of many. TBH i have never met a kirati who isnt openly racist.

  14. I am pure Hindu as well as Brahmin
But I don’t know why they hate us

I never hated a single religion yet
I just hate those who promote and manipulate the innocent one to change their religion

Also, My family hadn’t bought fire crackers since 2014.
They are bs who hate other religions for no reason

  15. Bro spends 15 hours on social media watching TikTok and FB content which are prgrammed to keep showing him the things he keeps watching. Then believes its a widespread issue and that type of content is on the rise.

  16. Oppress people for hundreds of years. Forcefully impose bahun culture to indeginous people. Invade their countries and chop nose and ears of people and spread propaganda as that horrific incident is a good thing and that evil monster is good. Capture entire country and make a system that only bahuns can be rulers. And then people like you ask wHy dO tHeY hAtE uS?

  17. This is absurd. What about ra pra pa? Who do you think has a bigger voice? Ra pra pa or this kirat Mongol whatever organization? Does that mean all Hindus support a Hindu nation? No the majority are happy with a secular state. You can’t let fringe opinions on social media dictate your perception of an entire ethnic group.

  18. It is due to search algorithms. Controversial contents are favoured and this make it seem like it is a trend in bulk. But when you go to the outside world, you rarely encounter it.
Still, we should be concerned given that propoganda has destroyed countries and societies. Plus these groups are supported and even funded by political parties (such as JaSaPa, maobadi, etc.) or else what is stopping cyber bureau to take action.

  19. 💀yo kun thau ma hudei x ra? Khai dharan ma t dekhdina t bahiskar garne group haru.
It’s all those minor groups of people from both community lighting fire and adding fuel 🤣 chill vayera life jasto jadei x jana deu, tyo bekkar ko hate haru lai afno normal day to day ma nahala.😉
Euta le kura jhikx, arko le kura thulo banaux, than someone misinterprets it and all hell breaks loose

  20. It’s probably a fallout from the koshi debate. The political elites really f**ked up delineating provinces and ensured federalism was dead on arrival. Nepal may become like Lebanon, somalia, ethiopia, Yemen etc.thanks to our netas, big businessmen and civil servants.
