Hello everybody.
We are currently in Pokhara and planning to make a short trek around the 7 of december.
We think about the poonhill trek, and we want to know if some of you have an idea of a fair price for it ?
We saw 280$ /person but it honnestly to much expensive for us…
Have you and agency to recommand or maybe directly a guide to contact ?
And also if you have other suggestions for anothet trek, we are open.
Ciao

Hey,
Try to contact a local guide (use any FB group of expats, you will receive a lot of DM’s)
The rate per day of the guide is around 3000NPRs.
Of course you will need transportation that will be around 15000 roundtrip.
The accommodation is around 2000NPR per room per night and finally the food, but it will depend on you, just mind that prices tend to increase once you go higher.
Poonhill you can do it in 2/3 days MAX, more than that they just want to walk between some villages.
I did Mardi Himal trek and was amazing (4 days), I spent around 50K NPRs for two people trying to save the most.
You can get a guide and start to trek with guide only. You will need to get permits for that trek. Guide will be around $30-$40 a day depending upon his/her experience. Other option for trek would be around Mardi himal.
