Id suggest you to not compare yourself with others. You need to realise that every journey is different. And, Instead of dwelling on perceived shortcomings, focus on your progress and achievements. Identify your strengths and areas for growth. Celebrate your successes, no matter how small, and set realistic goals. As we know, success is subjective, aafulai aruko thau ma rakhda ya arulai aafno thau ma rakhda, that may not accurately reflect your own abilities and potential. Ma mentor haina but you can gain perspective and guidance on your individual path talking to people you like to talk.
Haven’t made it financially, not even close but definitely hustling through day and night and I love the grind ( yes sometimes it’s so hard and I cry because of overwork and feel shit but then again I know why I am working so much so I am happy with myself at the end of the day).
I would say bro, : find an industry crack and get into it. Learn the tool skills for that industry and from there on keep improving yourself everyday.
Most importantly don’t follow the crowd. Always calculate in your head for these three things:
– Passion (are you willing to go the extra mile for that work?)
– Growth (where are people who have started like you in the same career path 5 years ago?)
– Love for the grind (nothing will be easy in life so do you love what you do or are just looking for easy money so you can go on a holiday?)
Watch that movie pursuit of happiness a few times, life vaneko Testo huncha dherai jana ko(except the fact sometimes you fail despite the work but you can never give up).
And finally ask yourself the big question.
Why do you want to make it financially, your why must be strong if you are going to last through the storm. Natra bro you will blow where the wind is blowing.
Good luck.
What is your income and what does your expenditure look like?
How I made it, as per your qualifiers, is coming to australia more or less?
However, I did have approx 5 lakhs saved by the time I was 22. Thanks little to my family hotel and then girlfriend now wife. She is/was a nurse. So we used to save her money as well.
Various factors man.
But remember, comes down to how much you earn and spend as well.
Made it financially. Come from a very small village of eastern nepal. Got a one small room rented in ktm after SLC. Did my +2, was very active in extra curricular and was hardworking student to get good grades. I say hardworking because I wasn’t smart and things wouldn’t enter into my head easily. I literally had to work hard to get good grades. Even memorized maths problems cause didn’t understand many times. Did my BBA from a government college with minimal fee. Again participated in many extracurricular activities. Still worked hard to get good grades. Worked on my communications skills. Worked on personal branding in social media, within the college, with anyone and everyone whom I met. Presented myself as a passionate person. Had to do an internship in BBA last semester, everyone did in big banks or multinational companies. I did in a small HR consulting company which happened to get a big US project the same year I did the intern. My english was good so I was the part of the project as an intern. I was 20. I worked for three months as an intern and the project got delayed. I was asked to leave. I left. Focused on my studies. And the project again came to the company, I was asked to re join , I rejoined as an intern (2018, NPR. 7500 per month) Did well. Was Offered a full time role as an assistant after six months because someone left (2019, 17000 per month). Again my supervisor left and i was offered her role I think the same year, accepted it. Worked there and By 2021 I was the Vice President of the company, again it was a small company but did it. My net salary wasn’t more than 70k even I held that big post. I was only 22 or 23. But it gave me good work exposure. A good personal branding in linked in. And one fine day, at age 23 a bank offered me a senior role. With good annual package and a car. I accepted it. 26 now and financially doing pretty well in Nepal.
Key points:
1) Finding your passion. Knowing what you are really good at.
2) Personal Branding does help a lot.
3) Not waiting for a leadership position to exhibit your leadership quality.
4) Resilience and perseverance.
Finally, do message me if you have any specific queries. I come from a HR field, so maybe I can try helping if you have any queries. Good luck.
Hi, 29 yo here. I fall into the category you mention, 5 to 25 lakhs savings. I also have 2 diff jobs like you mentioned, one full time and another part time. I work in the IT Industry, not coding but I am starting to learn and do some in the past one year.
I do not think I can actually mentor anyone on a broader term. (I am mentoring someone in my own field tho.)
All I can say about how I made it up to here is by being consistent to pursue my interest. I started to work from the age of 20/21 making little money but gaining much in knowledge and experience. In these 8 years, I was also jobless for 9 straight months, so it’s been hell of a ride. I figured out all we need is a bit of patience.
I could not understand exactly what you are looking for from your post, but if you feel like I could provide you any sort of guidance please do not hesitate to reply or even DM.
Have no worries; have some patience. Everything will make sense and fall into place one day.

I really want to share my story.
I was born Poor AF. I had a massive social anxiety whenever people talked about their houses because I literally had no room of mine and for a house we only had a room where we all lived. My cousin ko cousin would always threaten me to spread this info to everyone in my school. He was my classmate. Never brought any friends to our one room home. Always thought low of my self because I was that kid with whom you don’t want to make friends because they look dirty or wear same clothes school ma everyday.
I was probably 6-7 yrs old. Fee tirna thiyo exam final bela, my mom went sab relative to basically “to beg” 5k rupees. I tell my fiancé how kinder joy chocolate takes me back to my kid self. All the kids would talk about this chocolate but I did not even know what it was. Sab sathi haru would say what toys they got. She gifts me these toys sometime and it has so much meaning to me.
Tldr; born poor AF with examples.
I don’t want to be cliche but the changed happened when my dad went to bidesh countries like Qatar, Dubai and finally USA. It gave me and my brother some funds to at least change to a better school and go in a new environment where we could start over. I think going to an open minded school is very important. Nobody knew my past. Everybody would talk to me. For first few months I was so shocked when I saw how people treated me so well. I gained so much self esteem at this time. I was not a good study wise but I was and am very curious person. For eg instead if studying book stuff I would search about shit i learned on discovery channel and nat geo.
Tldr; turning point dad went to the bidesh and i was a curios kid.
My dad also called my whole family USA ma. I finished my college there cs ma.
Earn $150k+ to $175k+ total compensation based on perf bonus now. I slolely say the reason I am earning this is dude to the curiosity to learn new things. Tech is cut throat. They want doers. Things change super fast and if you are not able to keep track you will be thrown out in your 40s.
Saving and investment $200k cha hola. I am not money motivated and certainly don’t like to take risk due to my childhood most likely.
25-30% of my paychecks goes to 401k or stock investment.
35 %tax. So right now I am basically living self induced paycheck to paycheck lifestyle. Tbh my dad’s investments portfolio is better than me. Dude is a closet millionaire due to his land investment and real estate investment in usa.
My fiancé and I talk about doing business but I don’t want to take any steps yet until I have all paid out house.
Tldr; Money doesn’t motivate me at all and living self induced paycheck to paycheck lifestyle.
Sorry if It sounds braggadocios. My story

You are being hopeless. You need to be hopeful.
You also compare too much. Think too much. You also want to compete. Jealousy also there somewhere.
My friends have no savings but with earnings they travel at least one country whether Europe or SouthEast Asia every year. They have been doing for last 10 years. Those have become good path of life. Their parents aren’t rich. Life is flowing nicely for them without savings.
Start trading myan Forex trade or if you have good communicational skills apply to be real estate agent in some companies there are lot of options for income I wanted to Forex but little risky you can read in Nepalese Forex policies but if you can do it you can earn very much from it online and real estate agent Is very good thing for students to do because it all depends on how you convince others and how you show yourself to others that’s how you do it due to my small age I am not applying because many won’t give me work . Don’t post hope brother do what you enjoy at first the money may be little but if you continue it’s gonna be great. I am just 20 but ready to work on anything , I want to build up experience from small and hard phases so I can achieve success because success is made by two things one luck and one hardwork but you should be also somehow luck and hardwork meaning comes by the situation you struggling now and doing different jobs learn it properly experience it properly do some research on it and apply it on your next jobs or business you want to do you will get good results. Hope it because hope is very positive and powerful which is eternal you hope everyday and work according to it…
Sorry for my bad English learning it 🥰
I just wanted to know what that guy wuth username with sidxxn or something like that, what does he do to make money. That guy who says “if you are over the age 15, and not making money, wtf are you doing” in his video.
Also, i see some of my friends making money using cashapp, what do they do, it is related to bitcoin i guess. Does anyone have idea about this?
Umm actually not me but my brothers they used to do it but after due to Nepal`s daily changing policies they quit they used to earn a lot, you can find good books and YouTube channels where they will teach you everything the process and so on learn from foreigners how to trade use your Nepalese mind with Foreign skill and for how to use it on Nepal see Nepalese channel to proceed after you learn how to do trading it can take some months
At first you may face like some difficulties and some loss to avoid go with small amount for at least some months you can get good knowledge till then after that you are confident you can use big amounts but first do research on how really trading is done in Nepal how it works new policies
Note: Banks can catch you for transacting big amounts at a single time period so go on by small amounts find which broker is suitable especially see everything and which one best for you use it my opinion who has more tools less commission or no commission and approved by Nepali bank accounts and also see the bidding….
Working as a website developer for a US based company. I don’t like to think I made it financially, but tmle vaneko criteria satisfy vako cha.
99% of such people made it with daddy’s money. Tmi hami jasta ko lai testo chai sapna nai ho. So don’t compare yourself to others
