Yatri Motorcycles, a company based in Nepal that produces and sells electric bikes, has denied rumors that its founding team has gone abroad. The company took to Facebook to clarify that the rumors are false.
According to a post on the company’s Facebook page, there have been reports that the founders have abandoned their vision of developing high-quality products in Nepal and gone overseas. However, the company has refuted these claims and stated that they are committed to their mission.
The issue has sparked debate on social media, with some pointing out that the government’s failure to register vehicles made in Nepal has caused production to halt for eight months. In response, lawmakers have urged legal action to promote the use of locally-produced vehicles.
Yatri Motorcycles expressed gratitude to its supporters and affirmed its determination to continue the fight.
