Langtang Trek

Langtang Trek

I am planning to go on a Langtang trek next week. I don’t have many friends, and the 2-3 friends I have can’t go due to their personal problems. So, I’ve decided to go alone. As a female, is it safe to trek alone in the Langtang area? Could you please provide some safety tips and any suggestions for this trek? Thank you.

  1. It is safe. I met a few solo female traveller when going to langtang they said they felt safe through out. However if you plan to visit tsergo ri, make sure you go with other people you find there. There’s high chances you can get lost in the way if you go solo.

Dont walk dherei in a day. Take your time and go slow. Never ever walk after its dark. Snow haru ta naparla yo time ma but incase it does make sure you are near other people. And at last have fun and enjoy.

  2. It’s totally safe for you to go alone. Just make sure you don’t walk in the dark. And for solo travellers you need to be more careful as to not get yourself hurt kei bhaihalyo bhane you’ll be all alone there.
Make sure you cary coke, dry fruits and chocolate bars.
Ani gaisakesi Kyanjin Ri 1 and 2 ani Tsergo Ri duitai peak ghumnu. Kunai eeuta matra janu paryo bhane Tsergo Ri jau.
Aafaile ho aafno saman bokne so make sure you dont overpack.

  3. Before you start your trek ensure about the weather conditions. Monsoon season is not yet over so there is a possibility that your trek might get extended. Travelling alone won’t be an issue as this is a busy route. You will find travellers from many places. Trek at your own pace and don’t rush. Start early in the morning and end your day before evening. As far as I know this is a safe route. Plan beforehand where you want to end your day journey.

  4. Been there last year October ma… It is completely safe trail but wouldn’t recommend to go yo month ma…please look after the weather alerts and stuff. Weather le Saath diyena ra Saath ma aru company bhayena bhane lastai garo hunx

  5. Yo weather chai ali nagako ramro, firstly tyo hilly region ko road danger dar lagdo chha… Trek route ma ne 1 2 thau ma chai pahiro gako thyo ma janey bela, bhir wala route chha katai katai… Ali enough time ligera jada thik hunchha, ghumne thau haru tannai chha and the landscape is breathtaking for real.

  6. Went there this April, it is quite a safe trail. You’ll find lots of tourists and guides on your way, you can fancy going along with them. They’ll happily accompany you. Do mind not walking to much or after too dark, we reached Kyangin Gompa just by two days of walk from Syabrubesi, walked 7 hours on the first day and 12 hours on the second day (raati 8 baje pugeko lmao). so just take it slow and have fun, ekdam ramailo cha trek.
