Recently watched Jaari and 2 Numbari movies recently. Both movies were stale and below average. Dayahang is doing the same roles as Kabbadi in all movies. Is he doing the same kind of role and acting in all the movies (it’s like Rajesh hamal all over again)?

उस्तै फिलम लियेर आएपछी उसले पनि के गरोस पेट पाल्नै पर्यो। बिपिन, खगेन्द्रको हाल पनि उहि हो।
नेपाली फिल्ममा नया पुस्ता ले पुरानो पुस्तालाई ज भनेर भित्रिएको थियो ऐले उनीहरू आफू नी त्यही हुँदै छन। Creative फिल्म हरु चल्दैन। धन्धा, षडङ्ग, बधशाला, दासढुंगा, ऐना पुतली, प्रकाश, झोला जस्तो फिल्म धेरै चलेन। गर्न नखोजेको नी हैन तर के नमिलेको के नमिलेको हुने। पछिलो दसकमा लुट, टुल्के, पशुपति अनि कबड्डी जस्ता फिल्म हरु फ्रेश थिए। सुरु देखि अन्तिम सम्म बाँधेर राखेको र डाइलग हरु चलेको भनेको फिल्म इनी हरु नै हुन। अरु सबै कब आए अनि कब गए। यो पुस्ताले एउटा नै क्रान्ति चाहिँ गर्यो। नेपाली फिल्मको गाना हरुलाई राम्रो बजार बनाइदियो। आजकल बिहे पार्टी हरुमा नेपाली गाना मज्जा ले बज्छ्न कुनै बेला यस्ता प्रोग्राम मा नेपाली गाना बजे पाखे भन्थे। नेपाली आधुनिक लोक गीतले नी फडको मार्यो। सुर्खे थैली बाट सुरु भएको यो सिलसिला अजै सम्म राम्रो छ।
२ नम्बरी त मा निदाउँदै जाग्दै हेरेको। कथा के होला होला भन्दा भन्दै आधा सकी सकियो अन्तिम त गोली लाग्नु नै मेन कथा रे।
The Nepali movie industry is, imo, quite stagnant. I have only watched one Nepali movie in a theater till this date, and that was around 4-5 years ago. When i was a child I used to watch Nepali movies on NTV and Kantipur every Saturday and on DVDs featuring actors like Rajesh Hamal and Nikhil Uprety. But as I grew older and began watching Hindi movies, I stopped watching Nepali movies. Then, after watching Hollywood movies, my interest in Hindi movies also decreased. However, I still watch Hindi movies in the theater if it’s an big event movies like pathaan and jawan. The same goes for Hollywood movies.Nepali movies have become so uninteresting to me that I don’t even bother checking what they are producing. If they start making unique and compelling movies, I’d be willing to support them. However, with the kind of movies they are currently making, it seems like they are evolving very slowly or not evolving at all, and instead, they remain stagnant. Nowadays, the older generation and some younger individuals still watch Nepali movies in theaters, but I believe there will come a day when the younger generation, exposed to big Hindi and Hollywood movies from their school or college days, will stop watching Nepali movies.
