The technicians can usually find you an original display that is sourced by dismantling second hand iPhones that are sold on cheap rates due to iCloud locks or other defects. They usually buy these phones and sell individual parts for profit. You can look around for stores that have these screens available. They are usually quite expensive around 10k ish (could be less could be more). You can usually get back true tone feature if the technician you went to has a small device that can flash display boards with the signature of the broken display.
