  1. I do understand the feeling. 14 barsama I moved away from family but stayed at a relative’s house. 3 yrs later, got a room on my own, paid by parents ofc. College join gareko, I missed my parents a lot and was jealous of every person I knew who lived with their family. 1 barsa jati paxi chahi I went to village ani then I realized I had got used to living alone.
Tyaha Dekhi I came back to ktm ani enjoyed alone life. Tara feri 1 year ago lil bro came and personal space is non-existent 😂 getting used to it tho. I earn myself and pay for the room and food. Tara extra room non-affordable in KTM. Kitchen ani room garera 11k tirirako xu. Cheaper room pauna garo xa yeta, unless they’re shitholes.

  2. I think first you need to be financially capable to move out, then actually think about moving out, calculate everything from cooking to washing dishes, laundry, work, hobby and you’ll think 24hours is too less. be ready to face hardships. Moving out is not a visit in the park.

  3. Malai ni Ghar Huda testai lagthyo moveout hum jastai aliali Gali Garda keei bhanda Tara once I had to for my studies here I am missing them every single day there’s no other place like home trust me when I say this. Ananda xa ETA kei garnupardaina na Kam na kasaile Gali garxa tei Pani Ghar nai Jana manlagxa

  4. Mukh bata “move out” words niske jastai sajilo hunna actually move out garna. Parents can be a lot sometimes. Tara financially stable chau bhane matra yo decision lina khojnu, chainau bhane chupa lagne dherei gali garchan bhane euta kaanle sunne arko le udaidine.

  5. ye vai yo bideshi tiktok ,western culture absorb gari gari nepal ma basera westerner to lite version banna nakhoja , hami nepal ma xau uta ko jasto 18 vayesi ghar bata nikalihalni vanni yeta uta hudaina thapakka ghara basa khuru khuru ba le lastai gare vane kaam gara bhada ma basa tei ho

  6. Comparatively I’m in a lot better position than you, so don’t take it as a competition or something. Just sharing my experience of moving out.

In my latest 20s now, moved out about a year ago because I was feeling stuck in my home and mundane things daily. I moved to different city saying I got a promotion in my job.

I got a decent salary, so finance is not a thing I need to worry about daily. I spent about 50k per month. Rent is expensive, I spent 20k in just that. You can spend about 5-7k for groceries and be done with it. I got a scooter, so I don’t need to worry about transport.

Overall, I am glad that I moved out. But be aware that it’s not easy to leave a nest where you’re comfortable. More so if you depend on them financially.

Think of your options, analyze if you have what it takes to live away from you family, physically, mentally and most importantly financially. Best of luck.

  7. I have been working from home for 3 years now and my family have started taking it for granted. It feels so bad to see that they have no regards for the work I do, I think it would be 10x more productive and efficient if I lived alone.

    I’m 35.
