IT padne bhaye yesto course padne jasma timile time kam waste garnu paros and you will have more time for self study. gayera ghar ma few senior software engineers le yei bhaniraxan bhandeu. Nepal ko IT padhai ramro xaina bro DSA bahek aru testo kam nai xaina kinaki sab thok ko basic matra sikauxa and timilai euta kura ma ekdam skilled hunu parxa. J garne afai garne ho, college ta tyo kagaj (i.e Degree) ko lagi matra jane ho.
Ali badai chadai garerw BCT ko haru le kaam pauna garo hunxa ani tyo course ko teti value pni xaina market ma vanerw vandinu. Ek duita guff handinu seniors haru le BCT padherw kaam napako ani feri CSIT padheko…..yestai haru vandeu ani still manena vane BCT vanerw CSIT mai admissio lideu rw paxi kei vannu vayo vane “aaba tw course xodna lai 1st semester fees tirnu parxa” jpt vandeu.. jasari ni CSIT ko lagi convince gara jpt vanetw vaye ni

That depends on what you want to do, Engineering or CS? Difference ko kura garne ho vane BCT has better managed faculty (in context of TU) but CSIT ni dherai improved vako xa in recent times.
BCT ko end ma you will get Er. title to you father and make him happy but at the end of the day it won’t matter much in your workplace unless you want Sarkari jagir or want to teach BCT students in future. I reckon you don’t want to do both.
CSIT ko advantage vaneko it’s easier to pass. Same subject same syllabus vaye ni exams are easier. Dherai mehenat garnu pardaina academics ma so you will have spare time to explore career options.
Whether it’s BCT or CSIT or another IT course they will teach you the fundamentals. Specialize afai garne ho college time bahira. Yo kura ma CSIT is better.
Foreign affiliated courses ma you will have option to specialize too. But fundamentals nai skip garera chai not recommended. Remember you can easily go from C to Python but the reverse is comparitively difficult.
