I need help. The thing is Ma ahile MBBS ko tayari gardai xu. 1st gap year ho. I was just curious how much people have been earning in this sub reddit. Here or aboard. I think you paali niskine chances xa scholarship ma, and if some docs are here, is it worth to invest one more year if by chance yo paali vayena vane(would try USMLE paxi doc vayepaxi). Sorry to mix two questions in one post, but seriously help me to be clear.

I used to earn 45k after MBA. I was happy, but then UK happened. In Nepal you have home, vehicle. Only work and enjoy. In abroad, you will loose life chasing home and car. And by the time you realize, its too late and all NRNs do is regret when in special circle of people. So what i want to say is, salary vanne kura kati ko badhaune ho its up to you. You can work in multiple hospitals, clinics, and earn from digital media also. Nepali haru ko veda buddhi vako cha. Salary ko amount le kei hudaina. The most important thing is life is to be content and live with family before they go one by one. Don’t worry, just study what you want, salary ko chinta garne haina bro.
I make around $80k a year at my first full-time job.
Almost half for taxes, a lot for car payment and groceries, a lot for rent. How much do I save? Almost none, lol.
Aru yestai ho reddit ko kura sunera chai don’t make life decisions.
All kinds of sad lonely frustrated and negative people here.
46k salary with some punches 👊
Honestly, the one who is earning good do not have time to spend in reddit. From business point of view, you can actually earn the way you want depending on the opportunity you grab such as hospitals, private clinics and such.
Long term ma kamaune ho vane in government sector you’ll get 1-4lakhs depending upon experience(you’ll get that much as a professor or associate professor)
Private ma if people know you and you’re good with patients tmro demand cha vane easily 20-50lakhs kamayincha tara tesari kamaune manche haru whole Nepal ma fingers mai count hune gari matra chan.
About USMLE maybe 1ki2yrs pachi ta Nepal dekhi dina milcha ki nai hard to say(tara protest haru huncha hola testo bijok paryo vane ta)
Good luck!

I have three friends who have done USMLE. They paid and right now work in State hospitals and one is a surgeon at UCSF. So it’s a good idea.
Afno full passion ho bhane chai MBBS gara natra i suggest u to choose different career path bhanchu.. Future ma USMLE garchu bhanera plan gareko chau bhane ni u have to be dhani bau ko choro.. kina bhane u will be spending alot of money ani there is no guarantee that u will be matched..
Ahile ko Nepal ko situation herda chai personally napadheko nai ramro lagcha…
MBBS is gonna suck the life out of you(at least 8 yrs of ur youth will be in spent in misery if u do scholarship)… Don’t do it unless you’re really passionate about medicine and working with sick people and absolutely don’t do it just for the sake of money.
Keep in mind that You’ll have to endure a lot of hardships and make a lot of sacrifices.
But if you are really inspired and committed to this profession and feel like you will get satisfaction out of curing sick people then sure, go for it… you’ll have a blast!!!
USMLE ko lagi 30 lakh chahinxa and its not even sure if you get matched or not. And if the situation doesn’t change you can’t give USMLE after 2024 if you study MBBS here in Nepal. Earning in Nepal is about 60-100K. Below that earning means either you are a fresher or lack skill and above that figure means you are in IT sector or have much experience and in senior post. 2 gap years for MBBS again 5 year and then again 2 years bonding as you are trying scholarship which is total of 9 years. That’s a lot of time brother to reach the lowest tier post in Medical field do consider that thing. Don’t go to this field if money is your ultimate goal as after all those 9 years the max I mean literal max you will be earning here is 1.2-1.5 L. (My relatives were much lower but that’s max). Within that time frame you can master anything.
i work as game developer and i earn around 80k+ , it sector aali competitive cha and money paney xha .
Gap nai ligera dedicated bhayepachi chahi aafule choose gareko path nachodnu… Tara mero baba pani doctor hoisincha ani jaba competition metincha taba chahi kamai mittho nai huncha tara competition metna sakney 1 2 jana bhanda badhi hudaina. USMLE 2024 bata nai rokney ho bhanera malai niskeko MBBS pani paila napadha bhansyo afnai ghar bata. 1-2 lakhs chahi ekdammmaiii dukha gareu bhane annanda kamai huncha tara ramro kamauna lai chahi age aliiiii mature bhaesi ani budo doctor haru hatdai gaesi baalla suru huncha. MBBS sakera MO dai haru le path nai change gareko ni dekhinchan ra koi le ramro ni kamairaachan. Tme ma bhar parcha sabbai kura tara paisa bhanera MBBS padhiraako chau bhaney chahi 2nd thought dinu tara passion ho bhaney feri arko barsa falera ni MBBS ma dhilo chahi hudaina kina ki essai pani dhilo huncha so 1 year le kei hudaina.
24M was earning 2 lakhs per month after taxes left it all. Came to US on full ride. Currently working as RA, 20hrs per week ma I get around 1400 after taxes.
After graduation starting salary is around 90k-100k for Graduate Student. Currently the job market is fucked hope it’ll recover in a year or two.

90k per month after taxes in Nepal. 😇🙏🏼
“how much people be earning?”
Looking at how you have structured this sentence, I would pay you Rs. 7000 per month. Take it or leave it.
10 lakh
Your question should be how much is saved after all the expenses and taxex
Asti varkhar ekjana MD padhera jamma 70k kamauxu k garam bhanera sodhdai hunuhunthyo kasle ho
I would suggest to take a different path while you still have a choice.
Doctors life, both social life and family life becomes shit.
And if you do become a doctor, make sure to marry a doctor or a nurse or else your married life too will be shit
I am a 27 year old teacher at Dharan earning 50K per month. Is that too low for that age?
