So I will start getting some big bucks from US starting next week on a monthly basis. I need to find a bank that will give me the least trouble for the same.
Nabil, Kumari and NIC Asia are already out. I have heard that the bank people start troubling us as soon as they see a international transaction with money deposited in our account regarding tax and source of income.
Just to be clear I don’t wanna evade taxes. I will associate the account to my PAN number. But I wanna open the account on a reliable, fast bank which won’t give me any trouble.

Dont go to branch office, they don’t know shit about anything for dollar account. Directly visit headoffice if you are in KTM, I heard Prabhu, Siddharth are nice.

What are you doing bro ? Are you from IT field ??
Global ime. Mero ta ahiley samma tax ni kateko chaina. I will lodge it myself in year end.
I have my account in Nabil. I’ve received an amount of 2L+ from Australia from my sister. Some are from the US through my friend’s connection for freelance work. Never had any trouble. Bank staff are friendly, and quick in resolving any confusion or other issues.
Open one in standard chartered bank. It will cost a bit in the beginning to open an account but it’s way easier to process foreign transfers. Whenever you’re receiving more than 10k$ at once, let them know in advance and they will make sure the transfer is not delayed. This works only if you’ve disclosed all necessary information beforehand and provided supporting documents like contracts or invoice. I have added the manager on Whatsapp and i notify before every transfer.
NIMB.
I get ton of “remittance” and they haven’t asked me a thing.
