Done a few treks solo and it was liberating. Felt so free. Met a lot of people. It’s truly a great experience. First ma its a lil scary but you’ll get over it. Solo jada chai never walk after its starting to get dark.
Although I haven’t gone on any treks, I have been on several solo motorcycle rides throughout Nepal. Initially it was because my friends weren’t interested in joining me on my impromptu trips, but after a few rides, I became accustomed to traveling alone and now love riding alone. I feel liberated and able to fully enjoy the journey without any compromises. I’ve even made new friends along the way. Riding solo also keeps my expenses low since there’s no peer pressure. Fortunately, I’ve never felt stranded or helpless during any of my rides thanks to the helpful nature of people in our country.
Ma chai Mardi gaako thiye. Highly recommend it..
I have been to ABC, Annapurna circuit, Mardi and EBC. All solo.
I would suggest you to stick to popular trekking areas if you are planning to go solo. Finding accommodations won’t be a problem and the routes will be well marked.
