Hi everyone,
I got accepted to a Chinese university in china for undergraduate bachelor degree in mechanical engineering taught in english language(4 years) with scholarship and also got accepted in a Canadian college for a advanced diploma in computer programming & analysis (3 years). I’m considering these two options: China and Canada. I’m facing a huge dilemma and i wonder if anyone has any experience with either of these countries and can share their thoughts on the pros and cons of each. And please guide me by giving my suggestions. Thankyou in advance.
Note:
1. i’m awaiting my VISA for canada which will arrive soon and also just yesterday i got the specific documents from China via fedex to lodge my VISA for China from chinese embassy.
2. also for canada i got accepted for jan intake 2024, and as for china i got accepted for sept intake 2023
3. for china i have to madatory take a 8 months chinese language course then i can start my semester of engineering major.
4. my chinese class is scheduled for monday of next week via online ( the university allowed me to study language course online from nepal itself)

i know everyone thinks Canada is a no-brainer but IMO China seems the better option. Look at how you can excel if you choose CHINA, you get to learn a new language which will defo pay off later in life, I mean with BRI and all this shit china is fucking all over the world.
with Canada you get a degree only with China you get a degree plus access to that part of the world where half of the world will never even attempt because of the language barrier.
I would choose Canada
I have a feeling Canada will be the best choice.
Canada, it will also eventually open doors for PR
COA of Canada?
Bro, every one here is saying either Canada or China, but I would suggest you to choose either mechanical or computer stream.
Make your mind as if u pick mechanical just for the sake of scholarship, you might regret not choosing computer. So be clear on this which will help u to either pick Canada or China.
This advice is not considering that you can change streams after joining the Chinese university.
