If you’re not that passionate about it, sure, buy a cheap one. But if you are passionate about playing basketball and play it every other day, invest in a good one. Mine costs around 5k and has lasted me for a couple of years now. However, it is getting slippery because of all that playing over the years.
Cheap ones won’t last this long, so in the long run, buying a bit pricey one is better cause you only have to change them once every 1-2 years if you’re playing on an outdoor court. laying on an indoor court will make it last a couple of years.
