Nepal may not have won today but they definitely batted very well playing against the 2 time World Cup winners. Nepals batting order was very impressive, and Karan and Lalit are fantastic bowlers.As a Indian cricket fan id say Nepal has a bright future and a long way to go in international cricket.

AS IF WE WON THE GAME arey, we batted well,(more than we and the Indian analysts were expecting), and gave a good match against the giants of the game, and also it’s our first time, we should be happy for our progress given our investment in sports infrastructure is non-existent.
Most of our boys are in their 20s, which mean they grew up watching Rohit and Kohli and the Indian team’s performance, and to play against their idols, the ones you grew up watching, if that’s not a victory of sorts, I don’t know what is.

We played against a cricket giant. Never thought I’d live to see the day that would happen. Most of the players on the team themselves were very excited to meet Kohli. They called it a dream come true.
And we played surprisingly well too. Not champions-worthy well, but good enough against a very well-experienced team. So of course people would be celebrating. It’s a historic milestone for the team!

I did not expect Nepal to bat so well against our bowling. Kudos to that. I have followed Bhurtel since I saw him on an episode of a podcast. You folks have a good team. I really hope BCCI makes it mandatory for IPL teams to save a spot for players from emerging nations.
