The thing is car ko trial matra sikiyo liscence nikaliyo, thats it ani hijo saathi haru ko guff ma 4 lakhs ma gaadi (i believe its kia rio 2004 tira ko hola) vanni suney and I was in disbelief. TBH car kinni capacity ko manxe nai hoina ra tyo tira socheko pani thiena. Long story short hamrobazar and youtube ko second hand car ko rabbit hole ma pasiyo and genuinely thinking about such old cars.
The idea is to buy and use for about a year to get confident and also sasto vaye paxi bechda pani loss hune chance low hunxa hola. But, having zero knowledge about cars I’m quite skeptical and think there is a bigger picture behind this. And my gut feeling says these cheap cars could be a burden than useful and even cost more while maintaining them. In addition, would hiring a car for roughly a year be a better invetment??
Any honest suggestions from abit knowledgeable person. As I said earlier, I’m not planning to use it for long so would this be a right move.
Moreover, if any of you have a deep knowledge about cars I reccoment you to create a detailed thread as a guide for buying second hand car in every budget, and in which case it is better to buy new? OR other sugggestion how we can get comfortable riding on the actual roads. Thanks.

second hand cars are either a hit or a miss. But 5 lakh chai more than likely miss nai hune wala cha. Thik thak chalirako gadi lai 5 lakh ma chai kasle ni nabechla maruti suzuki alto nai vayeni. Anyway maruti suzuki alto is better buy for one simple reason. Taxis. There are alot of altos working as taxis. As such these vehicles have to be the most cost efficient at getting from point a to b. So one can expect them to have low maintenance cost, and long service life.
8 to 10 samma ko thikai hunxa as first Practice cars.
Maile testo nakinera 23L ma used 1.2 L I10 Sport kineko Dhudh ko gadi sanga love bite hanna gayo. Aliali kucchiyo side bata. Paxi regret vayo. Practice cars never more than 10 (max 12).
Nope. Tyo price range ma you’ll get cars from 2006/2005 and under. It’s pretty old already, engine issues, rusty parts sure huncha.
Rather wait and invest another 3/4 lakh and look for models from 2008/2010.
Car kinna praya jaso josle ni sakcha bro but teslai condition ma rakhna ho garo hune and kasaiko accident bhaihale 10 lakh atleast chaincha savings ma so prepared bhayerai kinnu worst scenario herera.Dheraile dukha pa dekhyachu excitement ma kinyo ani bich mai bechdinchan palna nasakera.+ purano car alik badi garage lanaparcha if ramro condition ma chainabhane.aile ekdam best bela ho car kinnechai so go for it bhanchu machai marilanu keichaina bro gadi huda dherai help huncha
5 lakh ma chahi you might get a car, but it’ll have a lot of miles on the odo, and may be in a bleak condition. you can find used renault kwids and i10s and santros with 40-50k run for under 12-13 lakhs though.
Ali budget badhau, ali ramro leu. 5 lakhs sounds fishy
You can go for an ancient santro but be ready to spend some on maintenance within the first few months.
I myself bought a skoda recently and have already spent about 30-35 on some parts.
Search the market you can fairly good car under this price. It might take time to fi d the right car that fits your budget, but it not impossible.
I bought my first car around 10-12 years ago for 350k. It was Maruti Zen. Quite old but fitted my requirement of practising. The car was carefully handeled by the first owner so it didn’t gave any trouble till next 2 year when I decided to upgarde.
I sold it for 300K.
Same. Trial passed, have 3 4 lakhs but don’t know which car to buy
