Rajesh Kaji Shrestha Elected as Chairman of Nepal Chamber of Commerce Advisory Council

Rajesh Kaji Shrestha has been appointed as the Chairman of the Advisory Council of the Nepal Chamber of Commerce (NCC), marking a significant milestone in his longstanding association with the chamber.

Shrestha, a former president of the chamber, assumes the role of advisory council chairperson, where he will play a pivotal role in guiding the chamber’s institutional development and enhancing the capacity of business leaders.

Joining Shrestha in the council are prominent leaders including Mahesh Kumar Agarwal, Surendra Bir Malakar, and Suresh Kumar Basnet, among others, who bring a wealth of experience and expertise to the table.

According to a statement issued by the Chamber, the Council’s mandate includes facilitating coordination between the government and the private sector, fostering international relations, and bolstering entrepreneurial and commercial interests while advocating for the private sector’s role in economic development.

Shrestha’s appointment comes as a testament to his three-decade-long dedication and active involvement in the chamber’s affairs, reflecting his commitment to advancing the interests of Nepal’s business community
