I’m from herald College and my first idea got rejected. (It was a electric rc skateboard with an app displaying speed, distance travelled and battery level.). Now I have no idea what to do. I came up with an pesticide spraying robot but the estimated cost went up to 30k. My budget is 15-20k.
I am so clueless and panicking rn.

If you’re into drones, then maybe get yourself a Ryze Tello Drone. Its programmable drone, and you can make it do a bunch of stuffs, and even program it using python and use for machine vision models or something.
Just make a smart dustbin that automatically tracks your waste data and gives alert when it’s almost full.
Try something with AI imaging. Use OpenCV. Rs 0 estimated cost.
Look into previously built systems you might get some ideas from those. And you need not to panic you have got a supervisor and a year to complete the project.
