Hello, my wife and I are travelling to Nepal for the first time in November and plan to do the Annapurna Circuit. There seems to be some confusion still about the necessity for a guide but we will likely be hiring a porter at the very least. Has anyone had any recent experience doing the AC and can anyone recommend a local trekking company, either in Kathmandu or Pokhara.
