Guys, halka help gardina paryo.
Petrol vehicle exchange garera EV linu parla bhaneko. Halka kura milirakhya chaina dad sanga.
Here’s the thing. I’m suggesting getting BYD Dolphin because of range, looks and overall build quality.
My father is adamant on getting Tata Tigor or Tiago EV because it’s cheaper.
I have a friend who owns a Nexon and he says it barely gives him 250 KM range. Research anusar Tigor and Tiago give 200KM range. And plus, I don’t like how both cars look.
My father says if it’s not Tigor or Tiago, BYD ko Atto 3 or MG EV re. I’m the one who will be paying for almost all the amount so aba Atto 3 or MG EV liney ho bhaney 1 year jati wait garnu parcha to save up some cash to give about 70-80% downpayment.
Malai chai testo hattar kei chaina but it’s my dad who always goes “Petrol ma kina paisa kharcha gari rakhchas.” Which is kind of true as I spend approx 20k on fuel/month.
K garda thik hola?
tl;dr: EV suggestion needed. Father says Tiago/Tigor EV (Which I don’t like) and I say BYD Dolphin (Which father doesn’t like). Need more time to save up for Atto 3 or MG EV.

Depends on daily drive kati huncha, and how often you go for long routes?
EV ko lagi 20% downpayment le pugcha hola. Petrol ko jati pardaina ani MG ZS EV is also good and cheaper compared to BYD Atto 3. Outside valley ni infrastructure badhdai cha EV ko lagi. So, lida ramrai ho mero opinion ma.
Tigor EV owner here. Mero le dine tei 200 Km jati nai ho. If range is a major deciding factor in making your purchase, BYD nai lida better hola.
I don’t think exchanging vehicles to save on petrol is always the most economical option. Have you considered the loss in selling your car? It could be many lakhs which might fuel your car for many years. If you still have emi in your current, then new emi can substitute it. If not then you could just put that emi in the bank to earn more money.
I’m also thinking of switching, but my almost 10 year old that I bought for 55 lakh has selling price of around 30 lakh. I’m also looking at dolphin/mg4 which cost 40+ lakh. I’ll need to pay around 25k per month for next 5 years to make up the difference. I pay around 20k for petrol. Depreciation of ev also needs to accounted which will be much higher than the current vehicle.
I might buy one though because I like shiny new things. Ev6 is no brainer. Mg4 is hard to justify.
Go For Dolphin . MG4 is better than Dolphin but ground clearance could be less on MG4 .
TATA cars are joke . They are not even real EV , they make converted cars from their petrol variants which means they get no Savings of Space by removal of Engine , Fuel Tank , Transmission tunnel .
