If you look from the global perspective discrimation exists everywhere in the world regardless of people caste, race, gender etc. Things are overall getting better compared to 100 years ago but i dont think it will be possible to completely eradicate discrimination from our society.
If you look from the religious side, Christian societies mostly western countries are making lot of progress after WW2.
Eastern hindu and Buddhist countries are also making a lot of progress in last 20 years but Islamic countries are not making significant progress when it comes to human rights and women rights because of their deep rooted conservative values. There could be a lot of political reasons as well.
Because we live in a social structure where one can easily oppress another.
Caste discrimination exists because of the same reason other forms of discrimination exist. People have this inherent need to feel superior to one another. And they’ll find the most stupid reasons to do it. “I have better job, I ride better bike, my clothes are expensive, I’m from Kathmandu, I look beautiful than you, I come from rich family, I have a PR” etc etc
Caste discrimination is class discrimination behind the mask.
Have you read the Manusmriti?
Because of low level IQ.
Judge people by their kindness and their work. Not their caste. It should be as simple as that.
Well because it’s been imprinted in our subconscious mind since birth by parents and society and the youth knowing or unknowingly practice it
fullstop.
