So many EV’s

So many EV’s

Yesterday was sitting on top of a restaurant and counted electric vehicles passing by as I waited for food for 45 minutes.

116 Nexon EV (various models)

46 MG motor

32 Hyundai Kona+Ioniq

2 Tesla

17 Tigor EV

6 KIA Niro

4 Tigor taxi

I am thinking of getting a Tiago too. Nexon is too big for my street. What do you guys recommend?

So people are really gone electric huh? This is quite a big change!

  1. i’d suggest to wait for an year or so , china is replacing these lithium batteries with sodium batteries , and this is more likely to slash down the prices of ev and Na batteries are better in every possible way as well

  2. Nexon sold because of TATA brand , it is incapable of providing good range and has less features . Now it is all about BYD and MG .

BYD Dolphin should be the ideal car .

  3. I went to National automobile association vehicle show recently where a lot of EVs were shown and a lot of people were interested in that. Not only is it affordable but the banks also provide low interest car loan for them.

  4. If you are choosing solely for city and occasional drive to pkr and chitwan, then only take tiago.
If you do frequent highway travel atto3 can be a good choice.
If city and highway travel are 70-30 dolphin, mgzs ev can be a better option

  5. My sister, niece and brother in law travel from ktm to biratnagar in their tata nexon. My brother in law told me it cost him 150-175 rupees to charge his car. Sinduli ko oralo bato bhata aunu bhayeko so it may have help to reduce cost, but it is still insane because they used to have petrol car before and it used to cost a lot to travel.

  7. One of the main reasons for it might be the recent amendment as per which Bank can finance up to 80% for EV whereas only 50% is allowed for fuel based vehicle
