A birth certificate wasn’t a thing when I was born.
I need one as an adult, I went to local “Woda Karyalaya”. I got one made but I am having a hard time verifying it internationally.
Why doesn’t Nepal have an official birth certificate template? Or do we have one and I just don’t know about it?
Any adult who made an official birth certificate successfully as an adult, could you please share your experience?

I made one from Kathmandu Metro. They give a document that has both English and Nepali and it was accepted internationally as it is when I was applying for scholarships.
Go to your local ward office. You might need to write application for birth certificate. Just tell them you want to get it re-issued. They will guide you. But don’t expect too much help They are annoying in some wards.
They issue birth certificate with both English and nepali now. Just check all the spellings of names of everyone. This is very important. For passport and all.
Things you might need for it you parents citizenship. There might be additional documents i cant say exactly. Hmm I think you might need your father for it.
