What is the ultimate truth?

What is the ultimate truth?

I would like to talk about the difference between an educated and an uneducated man(literate or an illiterate i dont know but this word choice might fit as per some of you) . Do you guys think an educated man is more open to change , has a wider perspective in different subjects and is clearly different in terms of etiquettes and the way he present himself from an uneducated one? I would like to entirely believe there is sharp line between an educated and an uneducated one and adhere with the Nepali proverb akhir padhe lekheko manche padhe lekhekai huncha however, I have myself stumbled upon highly educated professionals who were not respectful enough. One of my high school teachers despite being an intellect in physics was always disrespectful towards his students and taunted us for no reason. akhir k ho kura are such things rooted with upbringing and Am I mistaking it for education ? I dont want to be criticized for word choice and such things since this confusion was living rent free in my mind I just want to clear it out…

  1. Education bhanda Pani environment or external stimulus causes a person to be the way they are.

Esma chai Malai batman superman ko eauta quote yaad aaucha.

Superman apparently respects batman (among other things) because despite whatever happened to him he choose to be good.

Batman respects superman because despite having God like powers he choose to live a simple life.

Idk what the point I’m trying to make but yea. Lol

  2. There’s many reasons but here’s one that comes to mind:

That proverb probably became famous cus in the old times you had to go out of your village/area to new places to study. You’d face hardships, and experience different cultures and ways of life. This life experience is what gets you the good stuff you mentioned.

Now in today’s world, this need not be true. You can study pretty far up but still be in similar life conditions, and not face many hardships (esp. if ur privileged and ungrateful). This results in all kinds of shitty human traits.
Conversely, you can be someone who left their home at 16 to travel India to do dishes, faced infinite hardships, but kept at it and became a successful businessman. You have life experiences that don’t come from books.

Basically, like book smarts vs street smarts. Life experiences vs just academic garbage.

  3. >educated man is more open to change , has a wider perspective in different subjects and is clearly different in terms of etiquettes and the way he present himself from an uneducated one?

Generally speaking yes, there are exception ofcourse. I have seen people with PHD discriminating people from “lower” class. Just because they are educated doesn’t always men they are intelligent.

    There are always exceptions.

  4. What I think is the the one who go to school or college constantly challenges the brain which improves our brain hence we go deep in things , socially emotionally psychologically , so yeah there is difference I think ,

  5. Education doesn’t mean jackshit when it comes to personality and values. You can go to Harvard and be a shit human being, just like so many people have shown in the past. You can also never go to school and still be a good person. Education just makes you a functioning part of society. It doesn’t make you a better person.

  6. There is a big difference between reading and knowing. People can generally read stuff like Physics discovered by other people and take it for granted. But a very small percentage also know what it implies and this humbles them. The humility that comes with education only applies if you know it, not if you just read.

  7. We know our school study was like, so no, there will be little difference between who has went to school and not. But, i wouldnt say educated are wider to change and this that stuffs. My friends, educated are casteist, they still wouldnt date a girl of a certain caste.

  8. You’re confusing intelligence attributed to memorization and theoretical knowledge to a lack of emotional intelligence, morality and empathy in society.

Just because a person is highly educated doesn’t automatically make them a good human being.

  9. According to 5 laws of stupidity, people can be stupid regardless of position, education, status, environment, generic. Stupid people just are stupid and you cannot ever know who is stupid.

  10. Copy / pasted from online dictionary

Education: the process of receiving or giving systematic instruction, especially at a school or university.

Knowledge: facts, information, and skills acquired by a person through experience or education; the theoretical or practical understanding of a subject.

Wisdom: the soundness of an action or decision with regard to the application of experience, knowledge, and good judgment

Education is more or less imparted to us, knowledge is acquired by us, wisdom is something that develops inside of us.

Your teacher might be educated, or even knowledgeable but is far from being wise or intelligent. Hope this clarifies.

  11. Actually to tell the truth, it depends. Educated hos ya uneducated it really depends whether you are kind, compassionate or not. I have seen arrogant so called “educated” bunches and uneducated kind bunches too. The thing is when we try to make the educated-ignorant bunch to make our opinions understand they are never ready to listen, the arrogance of “educated person” is when they are never ready to learn new things or say some cannot just accept the fact that they are being criticized (even if it’s positive one). On the other hand, people whom we call “illiterate” are more often ready to accept the opinions of other and are least arrogance in terms of learning.

But the thing that ultimately comes is the kindness of a human being. If you are kind and have willingness to learn then it outscores the “illiteracy” . Thus, COMPASSION, EMPATHY, KINDNESS is the ultimate truth.

( I don’t know what i rambled but i hope it makes sense)

  12. Education if applied in your daily life makes you open minded. Lets say i learned history. And i applied it in my daily life. I will raise awareness to not repeat history. But if i learned history and do not apply it irl i am doomed to repeat it

  13. Education has nothing to do with it jasto lag cha malai. Education is a way of getting knowledge. Manche knowledgeable huna par cha not just in a particular subject but also about being a wise and humble.

Humbleness, Moral and Wise vanne kura experience, perception, environment ani aru multiple aspects bata ayun cha so don’t know k vanam yesma.

Ultimate truth is we are here in this world for temporary, till the end we will be served my others humans and the earth. So as a part of being a social animal hami le pani aru lae serve garnu parcha either its doing a job, artistic line of work, environmentalist or business. We have to add meaning to our life as everything is meaning less in life. Trying to improve our self till the end of our life is the goal here.

  14. Do you guys think an educated man is more open to change , has a wider perspective in different subjects and is clearly different in terms of etiquettes and the way he present himself from an uneducated one?
    -Short answer is no

  15. i feel like most of us are hypocrites( including me ofc). most of us know the right things and yet not do it and there could literally be any reason to it. Also education has no relation with personality and beliefs, at least not fully but you get the idea.

  16. the only diffrence is vocabulary, educated one has more words to explain something and the educated one can get a white collar job. Other things like behving with others , treating people , being nice to other people comes built in from the family culture.
