So, we’re trying to do something with short videos. And we’re intrigued with the tiktok commerce going on. So, we’ve build this app Kinu.
It is video based shopping platform where even you can post your stuff.
Currently there are barely organized couple thousand tiktok videos with description, prices and phone number extracted and generated with some AI.

We are also giving away free e-commerce website for all that will be automatically generated with whatever product you add in your account thus it’s manageable from the app itself! You can even add your own domain!

You just separated the ecommerce part of tiktok from the whole of tiktok instead of creating something for a market that’s untapped.
Not saying it is a bad idea, but what makes you think that people will use your app while almost all of humanity is rotting their brains on TikTok? In other words, there is TikTok, which does whatever your app does, and more, and has more users, so why would people switch?
If you are sure that this will have a solid userbase once published (probably after some paid influencer advertising), go ahead. But I think this will be more like what Reels is to TikTok.
The best thing I can think of is to sell this to Daraz, an already established international ecommerce platform.

I loved the concept. I would much rather see a video of a product that I am thinking about purchasing than its heavily edited pictures.
