I am flying with Buddha air with my 2.5 years old this Dashain from Kathmandu to Pokhara I do not have any forms of my child’s ID with me. Will that be an issue during check-in? Also do they actually not care if I say my child is under 2 years and not have an ID to prove it.

Try saying 1.5 years.
Most of the time they will weigh the baby regardless and charge accordingly.
Atleast have a birth certificate from your local ward.
