I wasn’t really an active ig reels user until recently with the ban of tiktok i started getting into ig reels. It seems the ig reels humour is spreading negativity and hate even under the most positive of videos, unnecessary gender wars and cyber bullying of children seems normal there. Is it because of the majority of Indian population using reels or what do you think is the reason for this?

Everyone in TikTok used to have fun with few getting offended here and there but in reels these siGmA incels have just ruined everything and how is everyone of them Indians like what happened to them. You can’t even argue with them anymore.

I think very cheap internet in India is the problem
They have no shame joking about rape , grooming minors , generalising racism and the list goes so on . Probably some losers who are stuck to their screens 24/7 .
As an Indian here, I agree with most of your comments guys.
I can give you n number of ways in which we must come off as annoying and hateful but I’m sure you’re already aware of this.
What I’m concerned with are the reason for this trend such as:
1.Large population ——–> more visibility
2.Our ongoing affair with hyper nationalism——–> averse to any kind of criticism.
3. Cheap internet ——-> Small town dank memers
4. Poor education system ——-> lack of civil discourse and critical thinking.
To sum it up, the internet here is cheaper than quality education and hence this shit show of ignorance. I hope it will change with time. And I also hope that you won’t hold malice in your hearts for all Indians because of these internet clowns.
I hate to break it to you but most of Nepali guys aren’t saint as well. I’ve seen vile comments from Nepali guys as well in Instagram, there are more Indians so ofc there will be a lot of their comments.

Its because fools are getting validation from another fool.
They are Toxic on Reddit as well.
Majority of toxic comments are from Indian boys. Thatswhy they are getting hate everywhere about their stereotypes.
Same for Pakistan. You can’t even post a normal thing without Indians flooding it with Jay Shree Raam or bhikhari. It’s so insensitive.
