Sensationalism moved towards tiktok and Prasain. Jajarkot, which has always been “undeveloped” in the perspective of politicians, got the clout by so called leaders going there in helicopters.
Our attention span is awfully awfully short and media exploits that. People engage with the content that is reactive. Death news are just sad, people skip it because they think there’s not much they can do.
The people living in the consequences of a devastating earthquake are literally freezing to death. Yet all we all will do is point fingers, and no action will be taken. It is really really depressing.
