CEDB Hydropower Development Company (CHDC) has declared dividends for the fiscal years 2077/78 and 2078/79, offering shareholders an 11 percent stock dividend and 0.5789 percent cash dividend.
To formalize the dividend proposal, CHDC has convened its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on May 13 at 8 am, to be held at Newa Bamboo Cottage, Harisiddhi, Lalitpur.
Apart from deliberating on the dividend proposal, the AGM agenda includes empowering the Board of Directors (BOD) to amend the articles and memorandum of association, elect directors, appoint an independent director, and select an auditor.
In light of these developments, CHDC will close its book on May 1. Shareholders registered in the company’s book until April 30 will be eligible to attend the AGM and receive the announced dividends.
