If he is guilty he should be punished and if not he should be set free. But to postpone this case again and again is to breach the trust of the public in this justice system and its institution.
What message is this sending to all the victims who had hope in this system? Now more cases will go unreported and unsolved. Who in the world would want to go through all this hell of a hassle?

Yo sab excessive populism le garda bhako ho. Ekdamai sensationalize gardyo case lai suru mai sandeep ta mahatama ho galti hunai sakdaina usko desh ko lagi tetro gareko cha bahnera they tried guilt tripping everybody. Victim blaming eti dherai bhayo ki case was out of hand before it even got to the court. Too many people had too many opinions on it. And now no judge from the district court is tsking the courage to finalize the case as no matter what the verdict there will be public outcry and this may hamper the said judges chances of moving up the ladder in the future.
As much as I think Lamichanne is a POS who’s crimes are being completely ignored by the public, it’s the Nepali Judiciary. Cases take years and years to adjudicate.
So you believe, justice should be delivered swiftly ? Like it should not take time?
All popular cases in the supreme court are always delayed. You need justice? Wait at least 10 years.
