I am a recent graduate of BSc. Forestry from TU and I am thinking of going to USA for masters in similar field. Sinc forestry is less popular field, i want to know the process of applying. I don’t have any seniors to ask guidance for. Which consultancy can Help me with it or can I do self apply, what’s the cost, which universities are good in the USA. Any information will help.

Do also check Erasmus Mundus Scholarship for MS in Europe. They have vast majority of courses. It is slightly easier to get than scholarships in the US or that’s what I’ve heard.
Forestry is one of the common areas for higher studies in the US for Nepali students. First thing I’d say is NEVER go to a consultancy. If you’re intent on moving to the US, learning how to navigate these things is essential.
For universities, there is no definitive rank. You’ll have to look up info on them online.
The cost will mostly be for the tests you’ll have to take and your ticket. Most nepalis won’t join a program unless they get an assistantship.
Erasmus program, like the other commenter suggested, is also a good option but I don’t know anything about that route. Feel free to pm me if you think I can help (only with US-related queries).
It is doable if you put your head into it. Thousands of Nepali students come to the us for grad school every year.
