Annapurna Base Camp Trekking ABC (Complete guide).

One week ago, I completed the ABC trek with a friend and I thought to share it with you guys. This might help people who are planning the ABC trek from the month of October-December & March-April.

So, let’s start. Depending upon the time you have allocated, the trekking can be completed in 4 to 5 days **from** **Pokhara**. For slow walkers like me, it will take 5D4N, but for good trekkers, it will take 4D3N. So, I am gonna break it down into two different categories:

1. 5D4N

**Day 1: PKR to Upper Sinuwa** (Take a jeep from Harichowk at 6-7 am and it will drop you at Jhinu Pul after like 2.5 hrs and start your trek. You can have lunch at Chommrong and you will reach Upper Sinuwa around 5 pm in the evening. Difficulty level: Very Hard)

**Day 2: Upper Sinuwa to Deurali** (Start your trek early in the morning at around 6-7 am after having breakfast. You can have lunch at Dovan, Khaja at Himalaya, and reach Deurali at around 5-6 pm. Difficulty level: Very Hard)

**Day 3: Deurali to ABC** (Start your trek at around 7-8 am, you will reach MBC by 11 am. Have lunch there and after taking a short break, head for ABC. Also, remember to charge all your devices at MBC. You will reach ABC by 3 pm. Few people were seen to have difficulty in walking, which might be due to altitude sickness. Enjoy the evening there, it’s absolutely breathtaking. Difficulty level: Hard)

**Day 4: ABC to Lower Sinuwa** (Wake up early before 6 am to take shots of sunrise and all. After having breakfast, you can head back at around 8-9 am. Have lunch at Himalaya, Khaja at Bamboo and you will reach Lower Sinuwa at around 6 pm. Difficulty level: Hard)

**Day 5: Lower Sinuwa to PKR** (Begin at around 7 am, have lunch at Jhinu, then take a jeep back to PKR Difficulty level: Hard)

2. 4D3N

**Day 1: PKR to Bamboo**

**Day 2: Bamboo to MBC**

**Day 3: MBC to ABC** (early at 4 am) **and Back to Upper Sinuwa**

**Day 4: Upper Sinuwa to PKR**

Here are the names of the main Stations:

**Jhinu-Chommrong-Lower Sinuwa-Upper Sinuwa-Bamboo-Dovan-Himalaya-Deurali-MBC-ABC.**

Some important notes:

* Take medicines with you: Nims, Paracetamol, Sinex, Altitude tablets, Diarrhoea tablets, Moov spray, gastritis tablets.
* A raincoat is a must (preferably a plastic raincoat Rs. 250).
* Take thermos (1L-1.5L)
* Toilet paper is a must at high altitudes because the water gets frozen sometimes.
* You can take trekking sticks from lakeside shops, as they rent them at around Rs. 50-100 per day.
* Proper trekking bags, shoes, trousers, socks, breathable t-shirts, one thin windcheater, and a down jacket.
* Do not forget to book hotels.
* Lastly, **DO NOT LITTER.**

If you have any other queries I’ll try my best to sort it out in the comment section. Thank you.
