The government is putting up a team to receive $14 million.

The government has chosen to assemble a team in order to win a 14 million dollar grant from the World Bank as part of the COVID-19 Emergency Response and Health System Preparedness Project.

According to the government’s Spokesperson and Minister of Communication and Information Technology, Gyanendra Bahadur Karki, a meeting of the Council of Ministers yesterday also approved the Teachers Service Commission 11th Amendment Rules 2021.

In addition, following the recommendations of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission, the government decided to compensate 29 people, including Purna Prasad Poudel, for over Rs two million.

Sandip Chandra Baniya, Sudip Chandra Baniya, and Aatma Ram Kurmi’s Nepali citizenship certificates would also be revoked.
