Have you noticed that there are more Nepali cover artist rising than the Original artist?
They also don’t give respect or even mention the name of the Original artist and bands on the title and in the description.
Those cover artist just put the name of the song, then their own name and (cover). Some even put it like as if those Original songs are theirs and people who hasn’t listen to Original artist/bands think that it’s their songs.
Lot of Nepali cover artist/bands have been trying to maximize their subscribers/likes and earning from it, whereas the Original artist/bands are struggling with poor views.
I know some Original songs also get more known by some cover songs but still people don’t actually care to listen to Original songs or look into Original artist/bands when they just only care to listen to cover songs because that’s what they first listened to, so people just don’t bother about the Original Artist/Bands.
Nepali society are mostly like that, they just don’t support the Original artist/bands. Esp. The underrated or unknown ones.
So please if you watch any Nepali cover songs/videos, comment it like “Atleast give respect by mentioning the Original artist/bands” or
“this is just a cover, people please listen to Original song to support the actual Original Artist/band who made the song, otherwise there wouldn’t be this cover”.
