i got a job offer at some company. They were willing to match my offered salary but persuade to sign agreement for 3 years and if I was to leave before that i have to pay 2 months salary as penalty. Some other people said that if i provided 2 week notice then it will not abide or that cant be possible. So i need your assistance. How does agreement play out?

This type of contract will be void in the eye of law because it goes against the labor law. Also, company that force this type of contract is a red flag.
If you are not that desperate for this job, tell them that their contract is against labor law and that you will at most give 1 month notice period and that is it.
