I’m 19 and I got tb back in 2020 ( corona days).. I took the medication for 6 months.. after the medication I was feeling well.. but again after 1 year I guess, I lost a lot of my appetite and was feeling so unwell.. I got tb again.. again I took the medication… I was alright till now but yesterday when I was doing my laundry(lifting some heavy stuff)and cough a bit I saw some blood in my sputum.. I’m scared af.. I haven’t even tell my mom anything.. idk if I’m dying… it’s the third time now..and my exam (finals) are coming… I’m scared af.. I ain’t unwell but the blood is scaring me..😭😭 my whole life and my health is gone.. I’m scared to cough..

Also, if it’s really TB, if you’re already not doing this..please wear a mask. It is contagious especially if people around you are not vaccinated. TB is caused by Mycobacterium species and they are known to have special kind of waxy cell walls which significantly slows the rate at which water molecules leave the cytoplasm and enter the environment. So this means, their water-retaining walls allows these bacterias to survive outside the body in dry environments for long period of time. If u cough up infected sputum and droplets land on floor, these bacterias will survive.
Acid-fast stain test is still popular to confirm if it’s TB (which is acid-fast positive). Reach out to a doctor asap.
In addition, I wanted to point out that it is not uncommon that there maybe need to administer the treament not just many months but even couple of years. It’s even more complicated if patients suffer from multiple drug resistant tuberculosis (MDRTB) which is condition caused by strains of M. tuberculosis that have become resistant to the drugs routinely used to treat TB.
Your exam is not today, is it? It doesn’t take much time in the doctors tho. Maybe click some photos of ur notes and go to the hospital so u can read while waiting. Also, try out government hospitals since it’s cheaper than private.

Please tell your family asap and get yourself checked. There’s no options to getting yourself checked and treated. It could have been due to incomplete treatment or development of resistance. Don’t be fazed by the meds, they’re there to help you.
i am getting near to completing my tb treatment.was thinking of getting wasted drinking alcohol and cigarettes with friends, once the treatment completes.

for you, go to hospital as fast as possible, get your xray done and consult with the doctor.if lageko bhaya, meds khai hala, free ma ho, testo kei hudaina, else lung ma pani jamxa and it will create shit lot of complications later,u might even need painful surgery, money gone,health gone.

Recurrent tuberculosis warrants checking if the bacteria is MDR = Multi-drug resistant or XDR = Extensively drug resistant. This can be done with Gene Xpert test of your sputum which is done at Bhaktapur and Kalimati (i think)
The fear is real tbh. I also got infected by TB twice and it still gets me when i see a tiny little fibrous amount of blood in my sputum due to some wound and all that cause. You got this but have to use the medications properly. There must be a cause for it to repeat that many times. Malai ta firstma huda sanai ma vathyo re ani i used to vomit after getting medicine so pachi 10 ma padhda baljhyo, now i am fine. Family sanga share garnus this would help in lot ways, start medications in time before its late. Please use necessary precautions too.
