Studying Medicine in nepal?

Is it worth it?
So my floks are not gonna let me go abroad straight after 12. They want me to study here. I am interested in medical fields. MBBS BDS .
What are my options?
How do I prepare?
Is it worth studying MBBS and BDS even if you pay?
Or is it worth getting a gap year?
I know gap can make or break you. I don’t think gap will do me any good.
Any other medicine related course besides MBBS and BDS that are actually good and worth my coming four to five years?
I am not someone that HAS to leave the country no matter what. I just want some good money and decent life no matter the location. I personally feel like it’s too much work abroad. Yeta nepal ma jasto chill pill life hunna bidesh ma.

So anyone with relevant experiences please guide me with suggestions about what my plan should be please tell me. What my best course of action would be in this regard?
What are my options?

Thank you.

  1. Health care ma chill pill hune wala chaina katai pani. Health care jobs are stressful. Education is lengthy and often expensive. Worst of all compensation in nepal is poor. So youd be in the wrong field if you want a chill life.

My personal suggestion would be to only get into healthcare if youre from a well off family and have multiple other source of income. Because the education a healthcare professional recieves is truly life changing. It will change one (at least yours) life for sure. Just being aware of a the physiological and pathological processes will contribute changing your lifestyle choices.

You may also get into healthcare if youre passionate. But its expensive and wont pay back for a long long time so financial background is still an import part.

  2. Medicine maa Nepal maa chill life chai chhaina,

Ani Aile ko entrance ko lagi ta already form khulisakya chha,

How do I prepare vanni question aile ko entrance dinxu vanne ho vane chai alli dhila vayo ki ?

MBBS/BDS bahek Paramedical course haru xan like BPH, B Pharm, B Opto, B Perfusion, BPT, BMLT etc etc.
    You can choose from options.

  3. So if you are really interested in Medicine and want to help people despite you having 0 emotions 0 social life and enjoyment then please go for it…kina bhane timro desire jun cha tyo Nepal ma fulfill hudaina, MBBS garera chill life paudaina plus paisa pani teti hudaina chill tarika ma basna ko lagi.. if you work in Nepal MBBS pachi you have to work more than 2 jobs chill ma basna ko lagi.

MBBS le manche lai robot banaidincha, kaam kaam kaam padhai padhai padhai.. ma happy guy always smiling thiye mbbs join garda but mbbs sakepachi mero emotions purai change bhako cha I am more angry, easily irritated ani aru ko barema baal nalagne plus job garna thalepachi ta you are always tired… sleep pugdaina, mental health will be very bad harek month exam dida dida you will have anxiety and depression.. ani constant exam dera bitcha Zindagi.

plus mbbs pachi job pauna ni garo cha, etti unemployment cha main cities haru ma ki private ma 25,000 per month ma kaam garna parcha ani 5 and half year mehenat garera teti ma kaam garnu is not satisfiable.

MBBS pachi pani kaha sukha cha ra, MD garna parcha jun jhanai garo cha.. MD ko lagi Nepal ra India ma competition nai competition cha ani MD garna US janchu bhanyo bhane ni aaba 2024 pachi you can’t because rules haru change hudai cha US ko jasma obviously Nepal ko MEC le register gara ko chaina.

So maile bhaneko manchau bhane don’t study MBBS Tara tyehi pani garna mancha bhane bahira gare huncha tyehi settle hune gari.. Europe tira sakyo bhane teta garda huncha kina bhane uniharu ko practice is excellent.

  4. You will be stressed for life and won’t earn money. Be prepared for never having time mentality. Pick Mbbs and bds only if you’re ready to study your whole life. Getting MD is even harder. Bds is better in terms that you could stop after and not get MD but the market is so saturated . Don’t do it unless you come from a well off family and can open a good clinic with decent investment. Also be prepared to have no work life balance in MBBS. Bds is better in that aspect but as I said only choose bds if you’re already from a rich family. The market saturation is mainly because of hygienist posing as doctors. Do you have other earnings in case your clinic doesn’t make that much money? Both are extremely tough courses to get into but BDS is easier to get in compared to mbbs

  5. Just Search In this sub-reddit with MBBS and Doctors.

You will get all of the answers.

Everything from pros/cons, salaries, work-life balance, future prospects, life in Nepal vs life abroad, struggles after MBBS/MD/DM in Nepal to struggles to go abroad after MBBS, etc. all have been discussed before, several times.

If you have any direct questions to ask don’t hesitate to DM.

**PS:** I wouldn’t suggest even my enemies (not that I have anyone) to get involved in **”direct healthcare” sector.**

  6. > I am interested in medical fields. MBBS BDS

You wouldn’t mind me asking as to how you were interested in medical field?

I apologise in advance, but if your answer is in the line of being influenced by the likes of Gray’s anatomy and House MD, then, unfortunately, I hate to break it to you, that reel and real life are far far different.

On a similar note, I suggest you to watch : **This is going to hurt (british series)**

This is the only show that I found which was somewhat close to reality, and I simply couldn’t finish watching it, seeing how close to reality this was.

The scenario (British NHS) shown in the series is close to reality and if you compare it with Nepal, the scenario in Nepal is far worse.

  7. Coming from a doctors family, Ma recently gap year ma chu because Ama Baba wanted me to study MBBS ani I didn’t want to study MBBS. I promise life is not easy. Even if you want to pursue MBBS from your inner heart, you’ll regret it at some point. Sheer determination ani aru le jindagee jiyeko herna sakchau bhane go for it. As every other field, competition kaatna sakyo bhaney mithoòoooooooo paisa cha(Ofc Sevice ,humanity ….. whatever tara last ma paisa nai ho) . Tara MBBS garera pani….khana launa matra pugni condition pani dekheko chu family ko friend circle ma. Man bata man cha ani ama baba ko backup cha jaile samma kamaudainau hami cham bhannuncha bhane go for it. Tara Worth it chahi aba timle timro life sanga k chaheycha bhanne kura sanga depend huncha.
