Struggling single mom

I am a mother of a 7 years old child, a working lady, separated from husband and living independently without any kind of support in Ktm. I believe I have been doing pretty well when I consider only these above things. But whenever I go into episodes of depressions, I struggle with my life. I find hard time coping with my low emotions and trying to do my responsibilities as a mom of my child. When depression hits me hard I even get suicidal thoughts (for which I am taking medical help). I am an introvert and have nobody to express my feelings, so jotting down here. Also, talks on mental health is still not easily accepted (atleast in my circle of people). I wish things gets better and I can live my life being happy. ❤️

  1. Just look back at how far you’ve come without anyone’s help and rejoice. I know it is overwhelming to care for baby and work and manage own life but every second week, go for walk with kid, maybe even short hike. Spend time in Nature, it might be good for you and your kid as-well.
    Also, kudos to you for taking all the responsibility and excelling in it.

    You are doing great, dont let any situation say otherwise. Seek inspiration that made you the today’s strongest person when feeling the lowest.

  6. Life gets too harsh for someone sometimes, mam.
    It will make you stronger, and I pray that your child will acknowledge that. Sometimes, you just have to leave everything up to God and just do your karma. Suicide has never been a good option for one. Just trust yourself. This is just a harsh phase it will pass soon.

  7. it takes great courage to admit that you are suffering from depression and mental health issues. half your battle is already won by you. life struggles make you stronger mentally. never give up on yourself. Don’t pay attention to others negativity. you are a great Mom.

    keep yourself busy with your work and your child. think about your childs future. you and your child both deserves a good life. things will get better for you eventually. better things in life takes time. be patient with yourself. don’t rush in taking decisions.

    when you are feeling down and you need someone to talk to or express what you are going through you will have all these beautiful souls to listen to you. you are not alone 🙂

  10. I’m sorry, but I hope you won’t act on your thoughts, your child needs you. If you want to have a stranger to stranger chat, feel free to express your emotions. I’ve been dealing with depression and loneliness as well and i can tell how it feels like. Loneliness is the worst thing someone can feel.
