My nephew is coming back to Nepal after studying till grade 7 in USA because his grandparents are both sick and fighting chronic illness . Is there any school where nepali is not compulsory?

Some misinformation here. Nepali is not compulsory in SEE. Nor in 8. You can choose to give English 2 if you are a foreigner.
The only problem is finding a school where they will help your cousin learn all subjects in English. Maybe some expensive schools in ktm has that option. Ask around time cha for new session to begin.
Nop…Nepali is compulsory subject for Nepal boards …So rather than joining Nepali school, You need to join him to school who follow either CBSE boards (eg. Rai school)or IB (eg. Primer school) or CIE and still Idk if Nepali is compulsory there or not but you can get contacts in Google so try contacting them.
