if you want to calm your nerves, you can buy protective gear for bikes. Helmet is non negotiable, buy a real leather jacket, hard jeans, hard boots, motorcycle gloves. These will make you feel a bit safer. Racing protection gears are also available but cost an arm and leg and kidney.
Remember, no on in the road cares about you. They’re just busy in their own lives. If you are careful and slow, you will avoid rash or speedy vehicles. Try to understand, life is about learning and evolving constantly. There are many more things that will challenge you and your way of life but you will succeed. Yes nepali roads are dangerous but with a sharp eye, cautious mind and slow pace you can keep yourself safe and reach destinations you only had dreamed about.
Cheers sathi!
Try riding ghar tirai ko bato ma. Confidence build up bhayesi, main road ko left lane tira ananda le chalauni. And do check side mirror timely, because there are some idiots riding as if they own the entire road.
I had this same fear, but pachi chalauna thalesi khai, morna lekhecha vane jasai morincha bhawana palayo ani chill cha aile
The thing is most people have this fear. You need to stay calm. You dont think someone is actually on the road just to hit you. Even they fear the same. No vehicle is that carefree on the road. Yeah there are few people who rides like a maniac, especially bikers, avoid them and everyother rider, driver are chill.
Timi jati pani careful vayera chalau ali ali mishap ta vai rakhxa. Sabai lai hunxa daraunu pardaina.
Just ride in gallis for a few days, then less crowded roads. Tespachi balla city ko main bato haru.
Highway ma ta sake samma pachi nai chalau. Bato ni naramro hunxa plus truck ra bus haru pagal jasari chalauxan. City bhitra testo problem kam hunxa.
Maybe start by riding scooter. Scooter chalauda paila slow ra chill ma chalaune aafno lane chyapera and let people overtake you. Ani rokne belama euta khutta matra vuima rakhera roka also directly khutta tala najhara try to maintain balance as much as possible. Yesto garda alli control garna sikincha. Time time ma overtake pani hannu khali road ma matlab agadi gaadi naaauda. Aba bike ko case ma chai fully learn to switch gears and release clutch. First first ma nervous vayera gear tala jharihalincha ani clutch kaile k garincha garincha. Tesaile paila slow chalaudai sikne afnai lane chapyera. Ani ekdum haula bike chalaune shine , splendor…. jam ma ni pachidikolai paila jana dine ani aafu bistarai jane. Yedi chalauna janne lai pachi rakhyo vane ajai better. Tara aafo sathi haru lai rakhnu dad haru lai rakhyo vane jhanai nervous vaincha.
Don’t go directly to main roads. Try Gallis first. Keep your pace. Nepal ko bato ma jo jata bata pani auna sakchha so be extra aware while riding. Go slow. Try not to go near big vehicles and try to maintain distance with them. Don’t overtake vehicles unnecessarily. Bistarai bistarai bani baschha. Khas ma bhannu parda Nepal, India ko road haru yestai ho. Bahira ko jasto systemic hudaina.

bro i dont know how to tell you this but you will crash your bike not once but multiple times, you will be so scared and nervous you forget and grab the clutch and then crash into the vehicle in front, you will be forget which gear you are on currently causing your bike to turn off and cause a traffic jam. I did all of this but i just kept riding and slowly the confidence develops “haat bascha” vancha ni ho tei huncha.
My advice just go with it, dont think im surly gonna crash if i ride my bike but think as in how smoothly and carefully i can ride it this time.
The best way to prepare for riding on the road is by making mistakes and correcting it on the road itself in my opinion.
Hope it helps
Ngl i fucking was not 100% perfect but 80-90 ish in just 2 days i mean not 2 3 hours a day whole fucking day from 10am to 6 pm. Idk the road is not like on the ktm but pretty crowded.
