I haven’t made any investments on share market infact I am a very newbie on this subject. I wanted to know from those who have if have actually progressed financially (made a house, bought a car or earned enough to retire) working in share market full time. Or is this just for side income? Also how risky is share Market in Nepal compared to US or India?
P.S any educational videos on this will be helpful feel free to share links as well.

yes, but investing is one of the most difficult thing in the world because investing is not enough. proper investing is needed. and you need a vast knowledge on business, do research, develop your rationale and other things to find the right, undervalued stock in right time.
bad investing could lead you to lose 70-80% of your money, even 100%.
It won’t make you rich but you will earn money (as long as you are smart with it).

shares are a way to invest your money in a business. usually when we think about investing in something, savings (i.e. in a bank) and assets (i.e. gold, or property) are the most obvious ways to invest. other times, we might not have the right contacts or social skills or access to such a large company. this is where shares come in, since anyone can invest in a business that has made its’ shares available for trading publicly or privately. ‘public company’ and ‘private company’ comes from here. public company trades shares in public markets. private company trades shares in private market.
if you have 1 share, and there are 1000 shares you own 0.1% of the business that the shares are related to. the business decisions are made by the owners through voting, who are the share holders. when the business makes money or more people want to buy a business, the value of the share increases and vice versa.
so investing in shares can also work against getting rich if the value drops from the business performing poorly. this can be a good time to buy a share if you think the business will make a turn around.
i think you should spend six months trying to learn about shares and investing before beginning… and you can always make a demo account with pretend money to practice. if not in nepse, you can in other markets. use a search engine.
