i recently had an infection in the tip of my foreskin. got checked up and had some medicines. but i think it’s not completely cured. doctor said i may need to circumsize.
also i always had a bit of tied frenulum. though i can retract the foreskin completely a part of foreskin is still attached to head and it gets uncomfortable if i have sex/masturbate for too long. so i guess circumcision might be good. but I’m a bit scared and confused whether or not to get it. So circumsized men of r/nepal could you answer a few questions:
– is it better to be circumsized or was it better before? in terms of sex, sensitivity and overall lifestyle
– at what age did you get the surgery? I’m almost 30. so i was wondering if older people have any difficulty.

– sex is good after Circumcision there’s not much of a difference. Since the tip which has been covered and protected for many years gets sensitive since it has no protection after the surgery. Wearing boxers is particularly difficult as it hangs like a bell and when you move it touches the sides of the boxers it’s uncomfortable. I recommend you wear underwear which keeps the shaft in place and not leave it hanging.

This excuse covers all the problem when you walk awkwardly after the surgery. But you would need to tell a friend. You would need someone by your side during surgery.
-Now for the difficulty you will face after the surgery. There is no pain as long as you take the painkiller. The bandages are a problem as it shifts and when you take a piss it gets all over the bandages. There is no helping it the bandages absorbs the piss however careful you are. Erection are not much of a problem but I would advise you not to watch porn or sexual content. Avoid getting a hard-on. If you have a GF inform her beforehand and avoid contact inorder to reduce erection. Bathing is especially hard and you can’t get water on it. I had to lie on the floor and wash my self wet towel.
One other advice, Masturbate and empty your sack before the surgery in order to avoid wet dreams and keep you mind off sex.
Not circumsion, i had my foreskin cut as i was suffering from phimosis. Circumcising was an option but i chose not to.

Umm I am from Kathmandu and I am now 19 going to be 20 this year( Nepali calendar). I have done circumsion very recently like before 8 weeks like that so in terms of circumsion it’s better to do and I haven’t regret doing it but I am happy that I have done circumsion now at this age after doing circumsion it depends upon you also how you control yourself so if you can live without sex or heavy works for like 1 month or 8 weeks then it’s better to do circumsion and I did it in Pulchwok lalitpur khadgi institute of endourology and my doctor was renowned Dr.Sanjay khadgi I was completely healed in like 3 weeks but it depends on your habit and your body healing process best hospital in my opinion to do circumsion
