I am a US citizen of Nepali origin and considering of applying for the NRN status. However, had some questions in the context of the recent updates to the citizenship amendment in September, 2023.
1. Does the approval of new citizenship regulation in September, 2023 have an impact on the NRN ID application process?
2. Is it best to wait for NRN citizenship vs. NRN ID card? Are they the same, if not, how are they different?
3. What are some of the benefits of NRN IDs? Is it worth the $520 fee? What have been some of people’s experiences?
