Kathmandu, February 22
Nepali ophthalmologist Dr Sanduk Rauit received the Isa Award for Service to Humanity worth USD 1 million (approximately Rs 132 million) from the Bahraini King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa on Tuesday.
The Isa Foundation announced the award last month recognising Dr Ruit’s contribution to devising a new method for treating cataracts.
