Epassport rejected due to missing middle name of my dad

My epassport was rejected AGAIN because I missed putting my father’s middle name. As soon as I got the message ( within 10minutes) I rushed to CDO office and they took my photo and corrected in the enrollment centre along with my signature on some piece of paper.

The question is, was this process correct? The app still says rejected. Last time when my application was rejected ( 2months ago) due to 33page, it was apparently lost and I had to create a new application.

Any one with similar issue?
