My dad is planning to buy an electric vehicle. He wants a hatchback for commuting around Kathmandu valley (especially to and from work). There are options like MG comet and mini ev from seres and now Tata Tiago.
Also, there is a lot of hype about BYD seagull as well which is yet to launch in Nepal.
What do you guys think is the best option?
Should we wait for BYD seagull? Will it be launched in Nepal? If yes then when will it be available here?

As another user suggested MG4 and BYD dolphin are good option for hatchbacks. BYD seagull would take one more year. Don’t go with TATA, slow charging and bad battery.
There is Wuling Bingo , it will come soon because it has launched in indonesia , with Right HAnd Drive .
Idk about the exact model but the BYD car that was launched few months back really looks solid to me. It had comparable specs to Nexon and MG ZS but was comparatively cheaper by a lot. Plus BYD batteries are the best in the entire world and is really reliable.
For latest Car it will take time to come to Nepalese market. The dealers are supplying car after booking only. There is a wait list in some of the dealers.
For Hatch back I think you can check the MG4 and BYD Dolphine those prices and feathers looks good.
