Idk why but KMC/Balen is against this Teacher’s movement. He said they cannot protest and even sent Nagarprahari to school like Hitler used to send Gestapo. Threatening them of karbahi according to sambidhan(no wonder court has asked to send copy of sambidhan in each home). School is one of those place where police or army doesn’t enter unless there is serious crime.
Routiney came out from its hibernation and managed to put 3 posts showing – see jam , see kid returning home. There is subtle attempt at showing teachers bad.

When you go through the bill then you know the bill is higly standard? The protest is truly outracious but a lot are favouring it in this sub by just looking as some lines of news portal. For eg; some are concerned that local government will have authority. The constitution has metioned it in 2072 itself that authority of education comes under it and to change it you have to ammed constitution itself with 2/3rd majority.
The only place where you can get your right and demand is from the street. It happens in every country, I mean look at France, there are always protests going on. If some politician or party said it’s not right to protest and they will fight for them by registering an amendment to the bill, then they are full of shit, the government can reject that amendment by majority vote. Sometimes, extreme measures of protest should be taken if u are fighting for your rights.

government school teachers earn more than private school teachers by doing 1/5 of work and they get position based on which party they serve and by being jholeys basically. they have got enough facilities already compared to the disastrous condition of public schools in nepal.
not just ktm metro, other local governments have also issued warnings to punish them if they don’t get back to their work. because it’s their duty to look after public schools. the demands they are making is against the spirit of decentralized government.
