Bank Holidays in Nepal 2080

Nepal Rastra Bank, the central bank of Nepal, recently released the annual bank holiday schedule for the period of 2080 BS (April 14, 2023-April 12, 2024). This announcement by NRB follows the government’s decision to allow certain essential service-providing institutions, such as banks, to operate on certain public holidays declared by the government. The NRB notice specifies the bank holidays during which Nepalese banks will remain closed, and indicates that partial banking services, including cash transactions, will be available on some of the dates marked with an asterisk (*).
