A detailed analysis on deposit and lending patterns has been issued by the country’s commercial banks. This information is current as of Poush 23, 2078, the fourth week’s last working day. The CD ratio currently stands at 89.68 percent. In the fourth week of Poush, total deposits increased by Rs. 58 billion, bringing the total to Rs. 4,307 billion. This amount increased by Rs. 14 billion in the third week compared to the previous week. The deposit is worth Rs. 4,209 billion in local currency, with the remaining Rs. 98 billion in foreign currency. Total loans, meanwhile, increased by Rs. 9 billion to Rs. 4,108 billion. In local currency, Rs. 3,994 billion has been forwarded, while Rs. 114 billion has been forwarded in foreign money.
