I am seeing a lot of old people who don’t have family members in Nepal. They don’t want to go aboard, or used to cherish life but don’t want to live anymore die to being alone. Or simply have alzhimer or other incurable disease. I think theu should have option to end their life at will. What do you guys think? Please answer with simple yes/no.
I don’t think having no other living relatives at old age should be a good enough reason to allow someone to simply kill themselves but for the people living with with chronic illness with excruciating pain with no cure should have an option to end it
That’s not euthanasia but you are talking about conducting murder at will… If someone is at their lowest point they would just go hospital then inject and over….If it would be that easy even I would have gone multiple times and most people in this sub…. Euthanasia is for people who are certain to die due to cancer or non curable disease and they are just suffering every second….
People with rabies MUST have an option for euthanasia, it’s one of the worst diseases and will 100% kill you in 10-15 days with the worst pain imaginable
Well i do agree with you on assisted suicide however it should only be reserved for extreme medical cases only.

I had asked for a yes/no but nevermind. There might be various reasons, some justifiable, some less so. But, it seems Euthanasia is something that needs to be discussed. Thanks for your genuine answers.
If they’re mentally and physically incapable then perhaps that’s the best thing to do. But making this method be viable this would stir up the crowd of depressed, suicidal people.
